Test Manager

• Experience in managing testing across a number of systems and teams in an E2E or F2B capacity. (Required)
• Experience in defining and creating Test Strategies and Detailed Test Plans involving many systems. (Required)
• Experience in managing defect including chairing defect calls to triage and prioritise defect resolution. (Required)
• Understanding of different Testing Phases such as SIT, UAT and Performance Testing. (Required)
• Experience in testing issue resolution such as env issues, timeline conflicts, resource conflicts and Requirement misunderstanding. (Required)
• Experience of FX Pricing and Payment flows. (Required)
• Business knowledge of FX Pricing and Payment flows. (Desirable)
• Experience or Knowledge of Payment systems such as HUB and GPS. (Desirable)
• Knowledge of CMB Business/Systems especially relating FX Payment. (Desirable)
• Experience of working with Global/UK/US/Asia based teams (Required)

Project Management

• Experience of traditional software development methodologies such Waterfall. (Highly Desired)
• Experience of Software delivery in a DevOps or Agile approach. (Desired)
• Experience in motivating teams that are not a direct report to deliver their part for wider project/programme. (Desirable).
• Understanding RAID items and their impact to testing. (Desirable)

Technology
• Experience or Knowledge of CMB Channels systems such as HSBCNet, HSBC Connect, DBB UK and DBB HK. (Desirable)
• Experience or Knowledge of Payment systems such as HUB and GPS. (Desirable)

Tools
• Jira, Confluence, HP ALM (Quality Centre). (Required)

“Soft Skills”
• Communication Skills – in chairing meetings, creating testing artefacts and providing updates verbally or written. Able to effectively be the bridge between local teams and global teams. (Required)
• Motivational skills – ability to motivate teams that are not direct reports to deliver required information, artefact, environment for the programme. (Required)
• Negotiation Skills – ability to work with teams that may have conflicting priorities to align their plans to deliver the Programme testing requirements. (Desired)
