Hala Madrid, Hala Spain, Hala GSB!

According to the Real Academia de la Lengua, the word “Hala” is used to instill encouragement, it is a slogan that fans use to support and encourage their team. With meanings ranging from ¡Adelante!, Vamos! or ¡Fuerza!

In September 2019 we had the first talks to take the first step in Europe, our destination: to create GSB Spain. Why Madrid, Spain? simply because:

  • Language proficiency
  • Our Latin culture
  • Strong ties
  • Internal growth
  • Customer demand

On paper everything is easy, but bringing it to reality has been an odyssey.

The arrival of COVID-19 not only limited travel, but also made it difficult to obtain the necessary documents to initiate procedures, some permits were suspended, embassies were closed or only operated to attend to emergencies, while other important procedures were relegated to the back burner.

After a lot of patience, missing flights, reservations, among others, it took more than two years to align this dream and make it come true. Now yes, we complied with the travel protocols, between formats, vaccinations and more… we managed to embark to Spain to be able to open the company. With the war between Ukraine and Russia, we feared that the opening would be further delayed, as migration processes became more rigid. In spite of everything and with a lot of luck we managed to have everything to create GSB Solutions Spain.

As always, we can only express our gratitude to all those who supported us and still encourage us to continue with these firm steps, maintaining our vision of being a global organization of services in technology and human capital, committed to the development of our customers, employees and business partners, for all this, Hala Madrid, Hala Spain, Hala GSB!
